With the Australian Covid-19 ongoing pandemic response escalating, travel and logistics advice has changed for entry and exit into Victoria.

Here is an updated border advice document in light of the emerging new developments as a result of an increased of CV-19 transmission in Victoria.

All advice is current for all jurisdictions. Critically please note the following:

NSW:

From 12.01am Wednesday, 8 July NSW will temporarily shut its border with Victoria.

If you’re travelling from Victoria to NSW from 12.01am on Wednesday 8 July, you must have a valid COVID-19 NSW border declaration permit (available soon).

VIC:

The Victorian Government has indicated it recognises the critical importance of the agriculture and food sector and will ensure farms and agribusinesses continue to operate. 

If you’re travelling from Victoria to NSW from 12.01am on Wednesday 8 July, you must have a valid COVID-19 NSW border declaration permit (available soon).

Delays and disruptions are expected at border crossings between NSW and Victoria for at least 72 hours. Please plan for these when commencing any border crossing journey between the two states.
